With this application, you can easily send an alert notification instantly to Lalitpur Metropolitan City Police Office. You can either choose to send an alert with or without your contact number. All will be set anonymous. But remember, sending a fake contact number is taken a serious offense and may subject you to an action.

How does this app works?

After downloading the app, you can easily open by tapping on LMC Alert icon in your device. After opening an app, you will see a splash screen and you can easily report a complaint or send an alert easily.

Provide Location Permission

Since this application is used during crisis situation, you need to provide "location permission" to the app so that the app knows your exact location (latitude and logitude values)
App Collects Required Data

After "Location Permission" is given, the app collects required data including the latitude and logitude value of your device so that the LMC police can easily track your location and reach at your destination on time.
You Can Upload Disaster or Complaint Image

If you are connected to the internet, you can easily send an disaster alert or complaints also by uploading an image. You can upload an image either by clicking a picture, or uploading through your mobile gallery.
You Can Choose Not To Share Your Contact Number

To send an alert, you can choose not to share your contact number. After you tap "send alert" button on the second screen, you will get an optional field to add contact number; which is not mandatory. But in case for emergency cases and, better and quick services, we recommend you to add your contact number.
You Might Get Arrested If You Share Fake Contact Number

Sharing a fake contact number is taken as a serious offense. If you share fake details, you might get arrested by nearest police officers.

Download and Open an App

After downloading an app, and giving a required location permision, you can select the incident or alert you want to send.

Upload a Insident or Alert Picture

You can choose to upload an insident or alert picture through the app. To upload an image, simply click on add image section where you can choose to click from camera, or pick any image from the gallery. Till then, your current location is also auto selected.

It’s done, send an Alert!

Just tap a "Send Alert" button, and your alert is sent to the required officials. Before this step, you can again either choose or not to send your contact number. In case of offline, you will be redirected to your mobile's SMS section with an auto generated message including your current device location and incident or alert you have chosen.
